Paris by train and boat

All three of the photos on this page were taken in Paris, France in 2005. One is taken from the "Bateau Mouche" on the Seine River of the Eiffel Tower. I sat for minutes with this visual of the Eiffel Tower in one quadrant of the viewfinder, the metro tracks below and finally a bridge below that. I saw a metro train go by and thought it would be a great shot to catch it right before it passed the tower, but wasn't sure if it would come out as nicely as I saw it in my head (or as nicely as it had subsequently come out). Unfortunately, my picutre software has changed some of the photo when it uploaded and the bridge doesn't completely show in this version.

Cars and Museums

The photo with the light of the car was taken in the Montmartre area outside of the Salvador Dali museum. Not too sure what inspired me, but I think it turned out quite well.

Finally, I captured the 'clock' inside the Musee d'Orsay in Paris that looks out on the Louvre Museum. Again, I thought it would look great to take a shot of one museum from the perspective of another.

I hope you like...
