Nation Wide, Parents Agree It's Not Them Who Don't Understand
As a parent, you always want what's best for your kids. You planned their days with outtings to the zoo or the city pool, the library for a daily read or a day trip to the park for a picnic.
As they get older, you start to plan out in your hopes and wishes list, that they make the cheer squad(check) or the football team(check check). Along the way you encounter a few head-butts(them head butting you, you butting your head against the wall, and siliently wishing it was their head you were banging).
Than one day it ALL changes. No wait, THEY change. They know it all, seen it all and experienced it all and nothing you can say will change their minds. They HONOSTLY believe they're entitled to have the latest cell phones, the only set of keys to the family car and your hard earned money so they can fill the tank up with gas.
I'm quite certain there isn't a document on this earth that says, "Entitlement of ALL said property belongs to the MINOR child(ren) of the parents who EARNED said property".
I'm a believer that my job as a parent is to provide three essenial NESSECITIES: FOOD in their stomach, CLOTHING on their back, and a ROOF over their head.
I don't know everything, I don't want too either cause if I did, there wouldn't any be room for me to grow. But let me say this, I don't have any desire to learn more about teenagers from teenagers!
With A State WideSmoking Ban, How Can A Business Be The Best Smoking Around?
The flyer says they have the best smoking establishment around town. Yet, when you pull up to the front door, in large print it states that smoking is not allowed on the premisies. This clearly tends to make one slightly confused exspecially since Kansas has a state wide smoking ban in effect. That is, until you open the car door and you take in the scent of rich hickory wood comming out of the vents at Cutters Smokehouse. The aroma of the ribs marinating in seasoning mix on the smoker makes your mouth begin to water a sweet taste of their famous bar-b-que sauce. With a heaping pile of your choice of sweet potato, krinkle, wedges, waffle or their homemade fries along with a side of sweet baked beans with a hint of onion, brown sugar and butter, makes the dinner that much more enjoyable.
The staff at Cutters encourages you to come back on a weekend night for a varity of musical acts. Everything from Classic Country to down right authentic Blues going on.
My personal experience at Cutters Smokehouse is fabulous and that kind of smoking is definitly welcomed.
